For years I ate a clean, low-fat diet comprised of healthy grains, fruits, vegetables, limited healthy fats, and lean protein. When I first made the shift to clean eating in 2011, I felt great! I lost a little weight, my eating habits improved, and I felt confident that I was making great choices for my body & health.
BUT, no matter how "clean" my diet was - I still struggled with things like bloat, a lack of muscle tone, difficulty reducing body fat & cellulite, low energy, sugar cravings, brain fog, and other issues that I, quite honestly, resigned myself to believing were things I just had to accept or push through.
Then, after researching some new information I found about nutrition - I decided to make some big changes to my eating habits to see how I would feel. I basically flipped almost all my habits on their head and, guess what? The change was undeniable!
